Jacob Zuma's son to be prosecuted for culpable homicide

Jacob?Zuma

South Africa's National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) has announced plans to prosecute Duduzane Zuma the son of former president Jacob Zuma for culpable homicide.

Duduzane Zuma's Porsche hit the back of a minibus in Johannesburg in 2014, killing one woman instantly. At an inquest that year, the ex-president's son said he had lost control of his car after driving into a puddle.

The inquest recommended he was prosecuted but the NPA said there wasn't enough evidence to charge him. In October 2017, AfriForum a group that campaigns to protect the rights of white Afrikaners said it would prosecute him privately.  ENCA reports that it is now unclear what will happen to that prosecution.

Meagan Good had an eyebrow transplant surgery and she shared the result with the world.
The actress, who has always been known to have very thin brows wrote on IG alongside a photo of her new brows:
My eyebrows are finally coming along after my #EyebrowTransplant! This has been such an eyebrow evolution journey lol, but finally starting to come full circle ?? Eyebrows like a real little girl ????. No, but seriously after destroying my eyebrows at age 19, I'm over the moon with these results thus far. Special thanks to my guy, eyebrow specialist  @DrJasonChampagne ?. And thank you to @DrJasonDiamond ?#Salute !

People are confused as to how this procedure was possible and Conceited Essentials has explained how the procedure is done.

Meagan Good gets eyebrows transplant

According to them,
Eyebrow transplant surgery involves taking hair from another part of the body and transplanting it to the brow area. Healthy follicles are harvested from the donor site, typically the back of the head, and transferred to create the desired brow shape. Hair transplanted to this area will begin to grow like it did in its original location, so regular trimming will be needed (NO WAXING OR TWEEZING)

New Zealand's prime minister is unmarried, pregnant and going on maternity leave

New Zealand

New Zealand has made a name for itself as a progressive country as regards gender equality and the role of women in public life.
There are so many reasons why New Zealand is considered a progressive country. First, women in New Zealand could vote two decades before American women. Also, the country is on its third female prime minister, and now the current Prime Minister, an unmarried 37-year-old named Jacinda Ardern, is about to give birth. She also intends to take maternity leave after the birth of her child, then she will return to work, while her partner will be a stay-at-home dad and take care of their child.

In so many countries, it would have been considered a big issue for the female leader of a country to get pregnant while unmarried and in office, but this is not the case in New Zealand.

New Zealand

Jacinda, who is serving as the 40th and current Prime Minister of New Zealand, is the world's youngest female leader. She will become just the second woman in history to give birth while an elected head of state. She'll become the first elected leader ever to take maternity leave.
"I don't want to ever give the impression that I'm some kind of wonder woman," said Ardern. "Or that women should be expected to do everything because I am. I'm not doing everything."
She'll have help with childcare from the baby's father, Clarke Gayford, her partner of four years. Gayford, host of a popular fishing show called Fish of the Day, is planning to be a stay-at-home dad.
She said her and her partner's unwed status was not a "deliberate decision."
"It sounds terrible, because we're very committed to each other. [Marriage is] just not something we've really gotten around to. We haven't correctly sequenced, perhaps," she told NBC News.

Nigeria youths are not lazy, PDP replies Buhari

Nigeria youths are not lazy, PDP replies Buhari

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has repiled President Muhammadu Buhari, stating that Nigerian youths, by their demonstrated industry, cannot in any way be described by anybody as lazy.
A statement signed by the party's National Publicity Secretary Kola Ologbondiyan, read

''Nigerians find it extremely shocking that President Buhari could make such a false, derogatory and unpatriotic comment against our citizens at a time the nation was looking up to him to properly present our potentials to the global business community.
It is alarming that at every international event, the President makes it a favorite past time to de-market, paint and denigrate our dear nation and her citizens in very negative light, an indication that he has stopped believing in Nigeria.
Mr. President’s latest salvo is totally unacceptable and must be condemned by all right-thinking people to avoid further verbal assault against our country, particularly at international fora.
How can President Buhari describe Nigerian youths as lazy, when they have proven, without doubt, to be one of the most industrious sets of individuals across the world?
Here is a President, whose administration has in its three years of governance, contributed nothing towards providing opportunities for our youths and who has not initiated or implemented any development project or set up any industry to provide jobs for our aspiring youths.
Here is a President under whose watch, factories and businesses have shut down resulting in over 24 million job losses and under whom no meaningful foreign direct investment has been attracted to the country.
This is a President who daily watches Nigerian youths sweating on menial jobs under very strenuous conditions on the streets of Abuja, Jos, Lagos, Ibadan, Kano, Kaduna, Maiduguri, Bauchi, Calabar, Port Harcourt, Enugu, Onitsha and other major cities, yet he unsympathetically described them as lazy.
These are the same set of Nigerians who, upon being afforded the right opportunities in other countries of the world, are known to have excelled in various fields of endeavour.
Nigerians can now see that when the PDP accused President Buhari of de-marketing our nation, we were not playing politics. It is however saddening that after de-marketing his own generation, President Buhari is set to destroy the future of younger Nigerians.
We ask, now that President Buhari has gone ahead to denigrate our youths, who form the bulk of our workforce, as lazy and lovers of freebies, how can he expect any foreign investor to bring in investment into our country?
Most disheartening is that these are the same young persons who form the highest demography of voters that put their confidence in him in 2015. Now they are receiving the short end of the stick from the President.
Our final take is that the Buhari Presidency and the All Progressives Congress (APC) have done enough harm to our dear nation and there are no signs that they will change their stance. Nigerians, especially the youths, must therefore spare no thoughts in their resolve to vote them out  in 2019''.

Wande Coal shares his side of the story in the ongoing fight with his baby mama

Wande Coal shares his side of the story in the ongoing fight with his baby mama

Singer, Wande Coal has shared his side of the story in an ongoing fight with his baby mama.
Few days ago, his baby mama, Temitope came out on social media to accuse him of snatching their child from him. She stated that Wande Coal gave his parents the child to take care of and that they prevented her from seeing the 10-year-old boy.
Reacting to her accusations, Wande Coal in a statement stated that everything his baby mama has said is a lie. He revealed that the only truth in her accusations is that she is the mother of his child. He revealed that she (baby mama) didn't tell him she was pregnant but got married and passed off the child as her husband's own.
However, the truth came out when her family members found out the boy looked like him. She was then thrown out of her husband's house. Read the statement below
“I want to start by saying that the only truth that has been said so far, is that the child is my son. Everything else is a lie. I honestly do not want to say much because at the end of the day, this is family and Temitope is the mother of the child but I must clarify a few things that she has failed to mention to blogs and websites who have refused to fact-check this story. Things that she has used to attack my character and the reputation of my family.
Temitope has failed to mention to the public that she did not tell me she was pregnant with my son. I didn’t even know she was pregnant. She married another man and claimed that the child was his and she never told me. We (my family) only knew about the child after her husband and other people, including her aunty, found out the child looked like me.
She was returned to her family with the child. The child was taken to D’banj’s mother who then reached out to my mother and asked for a paternity test to be done. This is why the paternity test was done in 2010 and not 2008. The house the Mo’Hits Crew stayed in at the time was owned by Dbanj’s mother and as Mo’Hits grew, everyone moved to the Maryland house. I did not leave the neighbourhood. Everyone knew where we moved to.
After we confirmed that the child was mine, my mother visited Temitope and everyone agreed that the child needed a cleaner and better environment. My mother took the child, Temitope and her sister to our house for a week. After that week, Temitope left and has not returned since to check on the child. Not even on his birthdays. In 2011, my mother reached out to Temitope and told her that she was disappointed in her. Temitope promised to come visit the child. She never did.
Temitope was in a “fashion school” which she left for reasons best known to her. Not because of the baby as she was married to someone else. My mother paid for a full session in another fashion school to make sure she had something to support herself. Temitope stopped attending three months after she started. If my mother didn’t want to see her, or allow her near the child, why would she do that for her?
The claim that she was refused entry to the house is also a lie. My parents have not changed phone numbers, neither have they moved from the house since the child was given to us. Why hasn’t she taken her family to my parents’ house if she was refused entry? She has both my father and mother’s numbers.
I have read things that blogs have stated that my mother said and I can say confidently that my mother would never say such a thing. I must also clarify that when I knew Temitope, she was 20 years old and the name “Joseph” is not my son’s name. That was the name she and her husband named him.
My parents are respectable and God fearing people, and it is disrespectful for anyone to portray them as Temitope, or blogs and media platforms have portrayed them.
The only reason I will not press charges is because she is the mother of the child. Temitope, stop telling lies. You have a chance to correct this error. No one has stopped you from seeing the child. No one will. I am focused on my career and building a future for my family and if you truly care about the child as you claim, you and your family should reach out to my family.
I love my son and this is the kind of madness I work hard to protect him from. I have said enough as these issues are family matters and I want to keep the rest of it that way.
For the record, the woman in that picture is not my mother and I do not know who she is.
Thank you.”

Trump says Stormy Daniels sketch is of a "non-existent man"

Trump says Stormy Daniels sketch is of a "non-existent man"

Donald Trump has said that a sketch released by porn star Stormy Daniels, which portrayed a man she says warned her to stop discussing her claims of a sexual encounter with Trump, does not exist.

On Tuesday, Stormy Daniels and her lawyer, Michael Avenatti released a sketch of a man whom she said had threatened her in 2011 to keep her affair with Trump a sectet, Daniels and Avenatti offered a $100,000 reward for information leading to the man's identification. Avenatti announced on Wednesday the reward had been increased to $131,000.

The picture they released showed a man with facial stubble and a chiseled jaw, who was wearing a hoodie. Daniels described him in an interview with ABC on Wednesday as "sort of handsome."

But on Wednesday, Trump addressed this, saying the man in the sketch does not exist.

The US President tweeted : "A sketch years later about a nonexistent man. A total con job, playing the Fake News Media for Fools (but they know it)!"

In response, Daniels' attorney said his client would likely update a lawsuit she has filed against the president to include a charge of defamation.

"He's effectively now told the American people that she is a liar, that she is a con, that she has made up this threat and this sketch," he said. "We're likely going to be amending our complaint - we're looking at doing that now - to add a defamation claim directly against the president."

Daniels, whose legal name is Stephanie Clifford, says she had sex with Trump in 2006. She is fighting a 2016 nondisclosure agreement arranged by Trump's personal attorney, Michael Cohen, in which she was paid $130,000 to keep silent.

Trump's lawyers are seeking at least $20 million in damages from Daniels for violations of the nondisclosure agreement.
