Monkeys swallow N70m belonging to Northern Senators Forum...lol

Monkeys swallow N70m belonging to Northern Senators Forum...lol

Barely a week after an official in JAMB alleged that a mysterious snake swallowed N36m belonging to the examination body, Monkey's have been accused of swallowing N70 million belonging to the Northern Senators Forum.
Senator Shehu Sani while giving more insight into why Senator Abdullahi Adamu was removed as the Chairman of the Northern Senators Forum earlier today, said the N70m belonging to the forum was allegedly swallowed by monkeys. Adamu was removed from office earlier today over allegations of financial impropriety.
Speaking to National Assembly correspondents after Adamu's removal, Sani said
There are some things some of my colleagues will not say but I’m not used to holding back. When we assumed office, Senator Ahmed Lawan tendered the sum of N70 million to the 8t Senate. That N70 million was money gathered from the 7th Senate. It was handed over to northern senators of 8th Senate. The rumours going round, which I don’t know whether it’s true but I believe other senators know, is the fact that there were allegations that some monkeys raided the farm house of some of the executives of the northern senators forum and carted away some of these money. I think, this country is becoming a huge joke. First of all, it was the rodents that drove away the president and then we now have snakes consuming about N36 million and now we have monkeys raiding farm house. So, they don’t want this to be said but I believe that we should be very clear” he said
He however didn’t mention whose farm house it is among the executives.

Lady shares her horrible experience at the INEC office while trying to get her PVC

A Nigerian lady has taken to her Instagram page to share her horrible experience at the INEC office in Lekki while trying to register for Permanent Voters Card. She shared the vote above and wrote;
So guys pls indulge my long post. I never do this but In this case I have to make an exception... From my experience so far I dont think @inecnigeria wants the Nigerian populace to get their pvc (voters card). I personally have been to 4 locations btw ikoyi and lekki and each time they redirect me elsewhere. Am doing this post because I think they are honestly trying to frustrate Nigerians not to be able to get their cards and by extension not be able to be part of the electoral voting process come 2019.
I was at the lekki maruwa area to register and the man standing at the gate in this photo was not letting people through at some point he even said only those willing to be under the sun the entire day are those that will get registered or pickup their cards and I asked my self how possible it is for someone to leave their jobs for the entire day and stand under the hot sun jst to register for pvc??? Can it not be done in 1hr.
Also another man that was there was complaining bitterly and he told me that he was there the previous day and could not register as well because once the list of names gets to 120 people they close for the day that means if you don’t come at 5am to write your name if you get there at 9am like I did you can’t be attended to for that day. WHY FOR GOODNESS SAKE? If you only register 120 people per day when will all 170million of us get registered?
Not only should there be a canopy and chairs to accommodate people but there has to be another way to do this Registerstion in a decent and efficient manner.
If your experience was different pls share.#myopinion #inec #pvcregisteration#stressfulashell #whytho

People are now proposing with avocados

People are now proposing with avocados

Men are now proposing with avocado, instead of using a ring box, and this trend is fast gaining popularity.
It all started on Instagram. Food Deco and mindful_af each shared photos of a sliced open avocado with an engagement ring in the place of the pit, with captions suggesting such a thing would be a "dream" proposal. Men have now adopted the method and so far, women have been impressed with it.
Some men present the full closed avocado to the woman and when she opens it to eat she finds the ring inside. Others go on one knee then open the avocado the way you would an engagement ring box to reveal the ring.

Meet the mum who bleeds freely and breastfeeds while doing yoga (photo)

Meet the mum who bleeds freely and breastfeeds while doing yoga (photo)

A yoga enthusiast breastfeeds her baby and bleeds freely while doing yoga and she shares the photos with her followers on Instagram.
Carlee Beanear is not your average mum. The mother who lives in Texas with her three kids, aged 6, 4, and 18 months, is a full-time earth mother. Carlee started doing yoga after suffering post-natal depression when her first child was born. She decided to try something new when her second baby was born in the hope it would help with her mental health.

She has now improved so well that her snaps on Instagram show her doing handstands, showing off flexibility and defying gravity while breastfeeding her youngest child at the same time. She says it’s less about making a statement, and more about doing something natural and necessary, while giving herself some me-time in the process.

"As far as breastfeeding yoga goes, anyone who has breastfed knows that it is a 24/7 dedication," Carlee tells Metro.co.uk. "I believe as parents it is our duty to make that time for our self because we can not pour from an empty cup. Breastfeeding yoga has helped me combat postpartum depression and has made my breastfeeding journey free of any bumps in the road, such as mastitis, worry of lacking in supply, getting over those first few weeks of tenderness, let down control and the stresses of being needed around the clock – to name a few.

Recently, Carlee went as far as sharing a photo that people found a lot more controversial than feeding her children while doing yoga. She posted a picture of herself free bleeding with her children hugging her leg making it appear that she was bleeding on the kids’ heads. A lot of people said it was "unhygienic" and criticized her for it. But there were those who praised her for destigmatising periods. The photo was later removed by Instagram after a number of people reported it.

Carlee said about the image: "No, my children were not bled on, they simply took a second to give me a hug. There were many women who were empowered by this reminding and many more who found me through the hate… Having a healthy monthly cycle is a blessing that not all women have. Celebrating life includes the moon cycle! Getting time to practice alone is hard to come by with 3 kids in the house who all have a yoga journey of their own,  and I love including them because yoga teaches the best lessons of life.
"This is the blood they came from and after birthing them into my husband’s hands, we all have a great appreciation for it. I take time each cycle to be grateful that I can bleed and I incorporate it into my yoga practice to honor all of the women who have it and those that can not."

However, Carlee says she’s not mad at the people who’ve criticised her for her decisions. In fact, she says she understands the reaction but wants people to look past their initial feelings and analyze why they’re reacting that way.

Robert Mugabe turns 94 today but he felt unloved as the celebrations are not as lavish as usual

Today, ousted Zimbabwean president RObert Mugabe turned 94 but it wasn't the usual fan fare that comes with it.

According to a report by BBC, Mugabe looked tired and sad, while the former ebullient first lady seemed gloomy, no smiles as they met African Union chairperson Moussa Faki Mahamat.

Mr Mugabe reportedly told Mr Muhamat that "he resigned for the sake of peace and development in the country".  Although he is no longer in power, Mugabe's birthday his 94th is still a public holiday and this year, he celebrated indoors, away from the public glare.

It is a far cry from previous years, when his staff presented him with massive birthday cakes at colourful functions at his office.
