Speaking at the event, the Managing Director, RB West Africa, Mr. Rahul Murgai, emphasised the commitment of Harpic towards the World Toilet Day. “Harpic, one of RB’s power brands has consistently advocated the importance of having access to clean toilets and that waste water, poor sanitation and issues like open defecation can create potential health problems, especially among women and children who are highly susceptible to infections and diarrhoea” he stated.

“Today is World Toilet Day with the theme wastewater and globally, over 80% of all the wastewater from our homes, cities, industry and agriculture flows back to nature without being treated or reused – polluting the environment, and losing valuable nutrients and other recoverable materials. Due to population growth, accelerated urbanisation and economic development, the quantity of wastewater generated and its overall pollution effects are increasing globally.

“According to the World Water Development Report 2017, 1.8 billion people use a source of drinking water contaminated with faeces, putting them at risk of contracting cholera, dysentery, typhoid and polio. In fact, wastewater is roughly composed of 99% water and 1% suspended, colloidal and dissolved solids. That means unsafe water, poor sanitation and hygiene lead to around 842,000 deaths each year.”He stressed further.

Also speaking at the event, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of the Environment, Mr Abiodun Bamgboye stated that “We educate sewage management authorities on proper disposal and recycling of wastewater as wastewater management is being seriously neglected, and grossly undervalued as a potentially affordable and sustainable source of water, energy, nutrients and other recoverable materials. It therefore needs to be seen as a resource, rather than a burden to be disposed of.

There are many treatment processes and operational systems that will allow us to use wastewater to meet the growing water demand in growing cities, support sustainable agriculture, and enhance energy production and industrial development, therefore contributing to a more sustainable, efficient and equitable water use worldwide. Today, Harpic, our regular partner is joining force with us in providing public awareness to the community. The ministry of environment welcomes such corporate support and will like other brands to emulate this as we celebrate the World Toilet Day.”

The woman is seen on top riding the man, while the man displayed some expertise by driving the car fast enough and still being very involved in the act with his woman. When he noticed they were being filmed, he threw a middle finger at the camera.
Local reports said the car was doing around 70mph. The shocking incident happened near Yala in the province of Jujuy in north-west Argentina on National Route 9, a major road which links the capital Buenos Aires to the country’s border with Bolivia and crosses seven provinces.

A man has been arrested after a video emerged showing him beat his daughter and shave her head because she used Snapchat.
Alex Harrison, of Ferriday in Louisiana, is allegedly seen in the video whipping the young girl with a belt as punishment for using Snapchat. The video was posted on Facebook and YouTube and generated outrage.
He’s heard saying in the video: "She wanna be grown, she getting her ass whooped and her hair bald. School is for work not f****** Snapchat. She ain’t got no business with no damn snap anyway. Stay tuned."
At the end of the video, the father makes his daughter look at herself after he had cut her hair and says to her: "Look at me. This is what happens when you get grown. You see that? This how you do, huh? Look at the camera. This is what you do. Now go in there and get yourself together. See if you want to be grown."

Facebook bans picture of woman delivering her own baby, says it

A woman who delivered her own baby while in labor gave permission for the photo to be shared online but Facebook has now banned the photo, saying it is porn.
The mum gave birth in the Dianthus MFM Center in Taiwanese capital, Taipei after which obstetrician Lin Tzu-hung, who also goes by his English name Jason, shared a photo of the moment on his own Facebook page after getting the permission of his patient.
He wrote: "This super brave mum just delivered her own baby. Beautiful."
The photo quickly went viral, hitting more than 10,000 likes. But a short while later it was banned. The doctor has now explained that the reason why it was taken down is because Facebook classed the image as pornography. Doctor Lin took to Facebook a second time later in the day to express his disappointment.
He wrote: "Facebook banned my heart-warming mum self-delivery photo as pornography. I’m very upset".
Other social media users also expressed their disapproval of the ban, which is thought to be have been executed by Facebook’s automated system. The doctor later reposted the same picture to his Instagram account, where it is currently still up and he asked people to got there to see the photo. Some social media users in Taiwan said they understood why the platform would seek to ban such image.
Social media user Tseng Ching-yuan wrote: "Doctor, your photo was very beautiful; it was full of love. But it was definitely too shocking – not everybody can handle it."
